About AJ Draz

AJ Draz is a fine art nature and wildlife photographer and pilot based in Texas.

From an early age, AJ was drawn to exploration, wildlife, and the natural world. Inspired by childhood visits to zoos, the work of Jacques Cousteau, and a lifelong desire to travel and learn, he photographs subjects ranging from nearby birds and insects to wildlife encountered in extraordinary places around the world.

His work seeks to reveal the dignity, individuality, strength, and vulnerability of the animal before the lens.

AJ believes photography can inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and encourage protection of the natural world.
